A photo round-up of the ‘Pilots & Stewardesses’ themed TIYP event in April and details of the next event in this cracking series of Tokyo parties.
There are any number of parties happening in Tokyo on a given day and it would take an act of supreme stamina to visit even a small cross-section of them. But if you like your fun themed, your party room full of cute ladies, great music and – well – just a fun crowd of festive party-goers – then the TIYP events could be just up your street.
Following on from their successful ‘Pilots and Stewardesses’ party, May 23rd brings a new TIYP event: The Sports Party.

One of TIYP‘s founders – Tokyo bon-viveur, Charlie Kirk – tells us more:
“Following the huge success of the “Pilots and Stewardess” party, TIYP invite you to join us for another theme night – “Sports Party”!
‘Dressing is up is OPTIONAL, but the idea is to wear the clothes/gear of any sport. This could be something you watch or play, but we want you to go crazy. Our website has some suggestions, but a few of the popular ideas at TIYP HQ include: Ice Hockey, Ballet, Snowboarding and Scuba Diving! And in line with tradition, at least one of the TIYP crew will be coming dressed as a Cheerleader (and it’s not Hiroyo)!
‘We’ve also made some improvements. This time there will be THREE bars at the club, including a Champagne Lounge on the mezzanine level that is open to everyone. We’ve also tried to respond to your helpful suggestions on entry prices – this time the girls come FREE and the guys get TWO drinks included in the cover of JPY5,000. Please see Hiroyo, Alan, Charlie or Duncan if you’d like to buy tickets in advance.
‘Our DJs want to hear your music requests – please let them know what you want to listen to on our Facebook wall.
‘Two of Tokyo’s top celebrity photographers, Alfie Goodrich and Irwin Wong, will be on hand to capture the good times. Check out our website for photos from our last party. Photos will be posted on our Facebook group page and our site.
‘The venue will be the same last time – Departure Lounge in Azabu Juban. This is very near the Shin Ichi No Hashi junction and Rainbow Roll Sushi restaurant. See our website for access/directions.
