As iPhones descend like a rash upon the civilised world, we decided it was about time we had a mobile-friendly version of our site.
The iPhone is everywhere. In Japan you will be hard-pressed to find a gaijin without one. So, as we want to be about delivering what people want, how they want it… we have today enabled the Japanorama.co.uk website with a version that is iPhone friendly. Complete with an iPhone style icon so that when you bookmark us and ‘add to homescreen’, you get a lovely Japanorama icon added to your phone’s menu.
As the days and weeks progress, we will be adding much more iPhone friendly content to the site as well as working with a Tokyo-based developer to develop and release a range of photography, photowalk and Japan-relevant apps for the device.
Here are some screenshots of our iPhone friendly site, as displayed on what is rapidly becoming the mobile device to own.
Bookmark us to your homescreen and our ‘J’ logo appears on your iPhone as above.
