A few Sundays ago we had a great shoot at the old Fort in Odaiba, with Johan and Akiko. Great location and superb models.
Tokyo is just full of superb locations for shooting portraits and fashion shots and a few weekends ago we journied to another gem of a location, the old fort in Odaiba, for a session with top models Johan and Akiko.
The session before we had with Akiko turned into a packed-house of students with everyone getting some absolutely stunning shots. For learning how to light people with flash and available light, getting to grips with how to interact with your model and just generally having a good fun time with the camera, Japanorama’s location workshops hit the spot. Location, location, location….
We always try and find good spots to have our workshops, spending time to check out and recce lots of different areas of Tokyo. The other week I struck gold with the old fort in Odaiba. It’s got history, there is plenty of space and it is surrounded by some superb city backdrops and the impressive and imposing spans of the Rainbow Bridge run-up almost right next to one side of the fort, making for some dramatic shot potential.
