HDR specialist Trey Ratcliff speaks to Alfie in Tokyo last week.
I had great fun the other week helping Trey Ratcliff out with running his Tokyo HDR workshop: nice guy, nice bunch of students. Whilst Trey was in town he managed to swing the camera round onto me…. and shot this little interview. First thing I have to say, is a massive shout to Jeff for the continued loan of the amazing Mamiya. Don’t worry Jeff, despite Trey saying ‘Alfie and HIS medium format camera’. I’m not getting ideas of declaring anschluss on your camera equipment.

Here’s the video…

No worries Alfie,
It’s a constant source of inspiration for me to see what you have been producing with the Mamiya.

Nice interview, Alfie. (I followed your link from Twitter)
I like your pragmatic, low key, but informed approach.
(Interesting to hear about Hasselblads on the moon too – I hadn’t heard that before).
