Some evening flower-time

I love the area we live in and one of the things I love the most about it is the Keihin Canal. Not only is it a superb place to get a little tranquility away from the bustle of the city, it’s little flower plots [tended to by local residents and schools etc] are always a joy, all year round.

We’ d finished some sushi at a new local restaurant and Joe and I decided to take the scenic route home along the canal. Armed with the 135mm f/2 and the 50mm f/1.2, I took a few shots of the flowers on the last of the evening light. Hope you enjoy.
