What Remains: The Life and Work of Sally Mann, part 1

Sally Mann’s work was something I first came across in the lat 1980s, whist I was studying photography & film at art college. Mann’s photographs of her family continue even now her children are grown up. But it was the shots she made – especially of her daughters – when they were young that generated so much controversy.

This is part one of a six-part breakdown of the HBO/Cinemax/BBC documentary about her work.
