A Day Out With the Kids: Kamakura Beach, Mount Fuji Sunset

My wife and my youngest son just got back from three weeks in the UK. Apart from being pretty busy with work whilst the wife was away, I had a few busy weeks of work too. Juggling freelance life with being full-time dad, laundry, cook etc etc has been a lot of fun but hard work.

There were a few days when the kids drove me mad. One day last week in particular Joe and Ami were arguing like mad so I just finished what work I had to do at home, phoned the rental car place and we disappeared out of town for the whole day.

Turned out to be a great day to go to Kamakura beach as even the guy who runs one of the bars at the beach's north end said that he hadn't seen a prettier sunset in a long time.

Here's a few shots from the day. A few of the kids and a couple of the surfers and paddle boarders with the sunset and Mt. Fuji….
