A Preview of What's Coming from our Miyazaki Workshop

After a wonderful weekend of shooting, now comes the time to soft through all the great pictures and pick some for the two projects I set.

This is a little taster of a magazine spread I will be putting together from some of my own shots, to show the people who came on the workshop what can be done.

Mimitsu is the name of the old town we were shooting in.

Each person who came to the workshop will be submitting shots for a similar layout, as well as a second batch of shots to go into a music CD type layout: cover, inside booklet, back cover etc.

Gear on this shot?
Nikon D700
Nikkor 300mm f/4 ED at f/4
Colour etc is straight out of the camera, shot using a pushed Kodak Ektachrome style picture control for the Nikon.

Model:
Azusa Ono

  7. I so wish I could travel to Japan. Have always wanted to film the cherry blossoms falling with Mt Fuji in the background. But as a giant I don't think it would work. Scaring all the little kids. Paper walls, sitting on floor, chopsticks and rice ….. sigh.
