Street festival in my neighbourhood

The other night I spent an hour over the road from our flat, at a little street festival around the temple in Suzagamori. This was the area used – from about the mid 1500s to the 18th century – as an execution ground for Tokyo. Local ghost stories and sightings abound!

I’m currently borrowing a Nikon D5100 from a buddy and enjoying shooting some video with it. This was shot using my Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 Ai lens and a custom monochrome setting I made for the camera.
