Alfie’s nephew Tim posting again on Japanorama!
Here are a few of my personal favourites from the Japanorama Flickr group that have been posted in the last few weeks…
This first image is of Mount Fuji and was shot by Adithya Anand. I love the detail in this picture, the contrasting tones and the low lying clouds passing gently through the shot give a fantastic sense of atmosphere.
This next shot is of Nikko and was captured by Hidehiko Sakashita. Brilliant autumn colours, waterfalls, the river and the mountains in the distance make for a really breathtaking scene. As mentioned on Hidehiko’s stream this picture really is best viewed at the largest size to appreciate the detail!
The third picture i have chosen is a cityscape shot of Shinjuku by Syla. Great sharpness and a wonderful reflection of the horizon in the window of the building!
Here we have a HDR landscape by HDR Maranatah. Really vivid colour and detail and i was instantly drawn into the picture’s stormy mood.
Lastly i have chosen “Terrible Love” by c. lemon. The seemingly dark nature of this scene i find really captivating and it really gets me wondering what’s going on.
That’s it for the time being!
Thank you to everyone who has posted pictures on the Flickr group, please continue to do so! It wasn’t easy to choose five favourites because there were so many excellent shots!
