When these 'wrapped trees' shots first came out a few years ago loads of people were raving about how original they were. I called 'bullshit' then and I repeat: bullshit.
John Pfahl was doing this [any many more wonderful pieces] as part of his Altered Landscapes series back in the 1970s.

If you are gonna do your own twist on someone's existing work, fine. Just don't claim it's original or at least quote the other person's work as an influence.
