I like this spot under the railway tracks because at a certain point your subject gets nicely lit by the light coming in under the bridge [behind where I was shooting from]. But the background on the right, for a certain distance, is in deeper shadow. So people walking in the background are silhouetted out.

And yes, it's a Ken Rockwell page. I know Ken has his haters and whilst I am really not into his photography, he knows a lot about Nikon gear and he says what he thinks, which I respect.
