As it turned out, although I missed the opportunity to shoot some more wonderful snow shots in Tokyo, I spent Saturday cruising a few of the nice spots on the west coast of Okinawa.
Temperatures reached 20 degrees later in the day, in stark contrast to the weather back home in Tokyo. The morning was super windy and it made for some dramatic clouds and wonderful atmosphere along the coast.
One of the first spots I stopped in on Saturday morning was Cape Manzamo. The southern end of the coast there is the most photographed, but just north of the main beauty spot is another great view across the bay.
Yesterday was a lovely opportunity to explore a part of the Japanese archipelago I'd never visited before and to scout a few spots for a workshop, which I hope to do later this year.

I thought of blending them into a stitched panorama but actually preferred a layout reminiscent of how we used to do panoramas in the old days, with prints: just laid out next to each other.
