Watanabe-san: Shimbashi, Tokyo
Watanabe-san was working on the street-gang in Shimbashi, by the Don Quixote electronics store, where Ginza and Shimbashi meet.
I asked him if I could take his photo; "Yes, go ahead". Nice friendly chap. Nice portrait of him I think. Not very much light where he was standing so this was shot at daftly high ISO.
Part of a series I am shooting called "Workers of Tokyo"

I like it, handsome man...first thing I thought of thought was 'earth quake' with his hard hat and orange vest...hope you are not experiencing any of the effects for the quake in the north.
like your watermark.

Wonderful portrait, level of detail, the way the low light worked for you and a subject with much character...

No Dipster, it wasnt you mate. :-) Needed to leave, think, do some new stuff - and then realised what it was about Flickr that I really liked: the people. Not the management :-)

this is a great portrait - the detail is good. he has such a friendly feel about him. i don't think the high iso makes any difference - in fact it adds some texture to the background
