Bullet-train babe: Tokyo Station, Japan
Not only do Japanese bullet-trains look cool, the ladies who work on them are beautiful too.

Very nice indeed. But, what is going on with the faint crosshairs centred just above the out of focus figure on the far right?
Alfie Goodrich wrote...
Watermark, Chris.... just helps people think twice about nicking things which has happened a lot in the past.

Hi Alfie,
Nice to see you again here at flickr.
And great to see you photos again.
The narrow DOF is brilliant.

Nice pic, good to see you back. I love your shots!

I thought that was probably the case. Just wondered if there was any deeper significance. obviously not though.
Again, great shot and I am glad to see your pictures back on flickr. They are quite unlike anything from any of my other contacts and make a nice change from the many landscape pictures they tend to produce, even though they are largely of a very high standard. I am not generally a big street scene fan, but the vibrancy of your pictures and your mastery of DOF leave me wanting to see more. Keep them coming.

Thanks all. I just can't stop with the short dof...... it's intoxicating. In fact, I have a whole exhibition here in Tokyo next month dedicated to the intoxicating eroticism of it :-) Mmmmm.

Beautiful shot. I love this lens. I have seen so many cools shots with it. I wish I can afford my own.
Alfie Goodrich wrote...
@bbaril888 - thanks. If you cant affford the AF one, I would heartily recommend the old manual focus one. It has better optics even than the newer lens which itself is very overdue an update to AF-S from Nikon.

Excellent image - you ought consider submitting it to this contest, I think it would do well: www.railphoto-art.org/award2010.html
Alfie Goodrich wrote...
Nice idea, Ottergoose, but am not a member of that organization so that means $10 to enter my photo and the prize is a Canon 50D which I would just give away anyway.....
Nick Benson wrote...
I'll pay your entry fee, you give me the 50D ;-) Awesome photo either way, one of my favorites.
