Reasons to be cheerful: 1, 2, 3: Roppongi, Tokyo

Reason No.1: Blatting through Roppongi on a Saturday afternoon in an open-top Merc, with the Prodigy playing at full-whack. Oh yes. Oh yes indeed.

The Prodigy on, well…. something strong !

Yeah, Jono. I also got to play with Charlie's Canon 5D and 85mm f/1.2..... better even than the Merc. :-)

It's a wicked image

Alfie Goodrich wrote...
Not 'full of', Francesco. :-) but he has some money, cos he works hard. He is clever, has a good job, is single, enjoys life and has a good eye for a picture himself which I am tutoring. If I were in his position, I would probably have a soft-top and some nice camera gear.

Sweet shot, looks like the perfect way to see Tokyo on the quick. Did photography buy that car?

What a great photo. Getting the front of the Merc nice and sharp must have been a challenge.

Alfie Goodrich wrote...
Not really, Richard; it was the bit of the shot that was moving the least. This was about 200ISO, f/16 and 1/15th sec. Just enough to get the blur because of the speed Charlie was going and slow enough to hold relatively still to keep other parts sharp. Charlie's a lawyer, Jason.

Neat shot, looks like you caught a brand new Nissan Cube in the image. Incidentally I happen to be listening to 'The Prodigy radio' on last.fm

I really recognise Roppongi in this picture... I've been there with my wife about 3 years ago! Pictures cause sensations and feelings... your picture makes me feel nostalgic of Japan!
