All the girls love Kenta-kun...
Joe and I went to a party on Saturday night, thrown by Yuki-san, a photographer I met recently when I was involved in putting on his exhibition at the Foreign Correspondent’s Club of Japan. Yuki’s place is down near Kiyosumi-shirakawa and we had a decent view of the Sumidagawa fireworks from our rooftop barbecue spot.
Joe-Kenta spent the evening, as usual, charming the ladies. Kana-chan was a particular favourite and she kept asking Joe at the end of the party: "Namae wa? Oboiteru?" What’s my name, you remember???
Two of the other ladies there asked if they could borrow Joe…. jeez, life is just so uncomplicated when you’re seven.

Great narrative here, like the eyes following the illuminated raised finger.

great lighting, and a superb story. i wish i could go back to that untroubled time, and enjoy it as much as i should have done! love the movement in the background, despite the pin sharp foreground!

Makes me yearn for my youth. Seriously this lads got an interesting journey in store for him. You'd better get him a "big", little black book Alfie. And the photography is great as usual, but what I like most about your work is the story behind every scene, the thought that went into the creation of each piece.
