Vertical panorama of the Shibuya-gawa made in HDR with PTGui

This cannot get any better, fantastic work

View Original On Black ?

As I dont have a Fuji 6×24cm format camera [I used to use the 6x17 and oh boy, what a camera] , I had to make the sort of vertical panorama I would have made with the 6×24 by shooting this one digi and stitching it together. Gonna rent a 6×24 soon and shoot some stuff like this in Tokyo though…..

First time I have used PTGUi for the HDR and stitching processes. Pretty good results.

Very interesting and clever. A new genre? And I like it.

Wow! Loving this vertical pano shot, Alfie! But it really needs to be viewed at the original size to really get the feeling of the buildings towering over you and all of the incredible little details in the scene. As always... outstanding work!

Cheers man. I see these being viewed best as large prints.... which is what I am heading towards with this technique.

That's really amazing. Has sort of a tunnel effect!
