Joe looking cool when he was actually boiling hot :-) Yokohama, Japan

Joe and I were down at Osanbashi for a bit this afternoon, then headed off into Chinatown – which was mad with firecrackers and celebrations of the the 60th Anniversary. Great day out. He is such good company.

We shot a few posed portraits on the Osanbashi decking. It got a few local OL and assorted young ladies swooning :-)

He was burning up in the sun, as was I. This was shot directly into the sun.

Thanks, Joe, for being patient…. and for being such a cool model.

Nikon D300
Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 @ f/11 and 16mm
Nikon SB800 fired off-camera with the SC-17 cord and through a Lumiquest III Softbox

The best thing about this shot is that you managed to capture the strong sunlight with the model well-lit while no part of the photo is overexposed! Well done!
