Picture of the Day, Japan Today: Commuter chaos as typhoon hits
Shot this morning at Keikyu Shinagawa Station. I managed to get as far as there after leaving my local station bound for Tokyo. Just before 10am all the trains were cancelled. The Keikyu was maintaining a skeleton service running but the crowds were substantial, mainly because all the JR lines out of Shinagawa had stopped running.
Nikon D300
Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8

Got stuck at my station in chiba for 6 hours!! then called my office to take the rest of the day off. It was bright and sunny and yet not a productive day.

I love this picture !
I left home early this morning so I didn't have any trouble (got wet though) but most of my colleagues were stuck at stations like this ... in the blue sky. ;)
