Red Bridge Over the Todoroki Ravine; Setagaya-ku, Tokyo
Was out the other day, scouting around for locations for future photowalks and fashion shoots. The Todoroki Valley was somewhere I’d wanted to explore for a while and, whilst it’s only five miles from my house, had never been.
The weather this coming weekend sadly looks set to be awful. But this location will definitely be one for a photwalk as soon as the weather perks up on the weekend.
Nikon D300
Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 @ f/6.3
7-shot bracketed HDR, merged in Photomatix.

Nice shot for an interesting place to visit indeed (don't go there in summer without repellent though !!!).

Todoroki Valley does look really cool... I've seen some of Mari's shots of the place and it is worth a visit, for sure. And your HDR work is top-notch... as always. I can only imagine how challenging getting a decent exposure in here would be without doing HDR!

Eric: the middle exposure of this spread was still nowhere near what I would call a decent exposure. Lots of dark, lots of light spots. I love hdr for these situations. Faithfully processed to as close to what I could see with my eye.... and with such a large range of exposure. You can't beat it mate.

Beautiful shot, looks like a lovely place
